Hi! Our names are Sydney and Emma, and we're sophomores enrolled in our school's gifted program. We were assigned to create a "purpose project" that could encompass any field we wanted to explore as long as our idea positively impacted ourselves, our peers, and our community.

We worked with a little shop called Nich Boutique as well as an independent jeweler in our area to create advertisements with photographs (taken by Sydney) for their businesses. The photos in this website's portfolio are the photos taken from a select photo shoot hosted at the boutique in May.

Emma wanted to focus on the models and how being photographed psychologically impacted their self-esteem. She aimed to empower the models through engaging them in encouraging activities. You can read about her work under the Empower tab.
